Republicans Caused Problems On Purpose

* If someone plotted to purposely bring the government's work to a halt, is that treason?
If a group of people got together and planned a strategy to stop progress, block job creation, block legislation that protects the nation and stop funding of vital agencies, is that treason?

The new book by Robert Draper, "Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the US House of Representatives" gives details about a Republican plan that was hatched at the beginning of the Obama administration.

The Guardian:
Democrats have rounded on revelations about a private dinner of House Republicans on inauguration day in 2009 in which they plotted a campaign of obstruction against newly installed president Barack Obama.

During a lengthy discussion, the senior GOP members worked out a plan to repeatedly block Obama over the coming four years to try to ensure he would not be re-elected....

.....Attending the dinner were House members Eric Cantor, Jeb Hensarling, Pete Hoekstra, Dan Lungren, Kevin McCarthy, Paul Ryan and Pete Sessions. From the Senate were Tom Coburn, Bob Corker, Jim DeMint, John Ensign and Jon Kyl. Others present were former House Speaker and future – and failed – presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and the Republican strategist Frank Luntz, who organised the dinner and sent out the invitations......

The Republicans messed up and hurt Americans. The reason that no roads or bridges were built had to do with the Republicans blocking job creation.  Without new job creation, you and your family may have lost your job, your home, your cars, and your sense of security.  How does that make you feel that someone worked hard to block progress in this country and keep you from feeding and taking care of your family?

CC writes an entry at Daily Kos that suggests the following:

It's no secret now that GOP in Congress literally plotted to undermine U.S. economy during President Obama's Inauguration.

In Robert Draper's book, "Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives" Draper wrote that during a four hour, "invitation only" meeting with GOP Minister of Propaganda, Frank Luntz, Senior GOP Congressmen plotted to undermine and destroy America's Economy.
The Guest List:
Frank Luntz - GOP Minister of Propaganda
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)
Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA)

Non-lawmakers present Newt Gingrich
During the four hour meeting, the senior GOP members plotted to bring Congress to a standstill regardless how much it would hurt the American Economy by pledging to obstruct and block President Obama on all legislation......

What do you think should happen?  Should these Republicans be brought up in front of a hearing?  Was this a conspiracy to derail the government and the Obama administration instrumental in creating a slower economy and less of a recovery?

Now the Republicans in the House will only keep the college loan interest rates low if immunizations for children is removed from the health care bill.

These Republicans, Tea Partiers, and those listed above are clearly disgusting.  They've messed with your life for their own power and greed.
